These classes teach you to produce replicas of real-life objects. You'll learn how to build and pour a two-part plaster mold, and then how to prepare and pour slip (liquid clay) into your mold to create cast objects.

In this workshop, you'll learn to build a two-part mold to produce replicas of a chosen object. You'll learn to find the dividing line, build clay walls, and mix and pour plaster. Basic principles of slip-casting are also explained. At the end of the workshop, you'll have a finished plaster mold that needs to dry for at least one week before use.

You can bring your own unique object to cast. It must be a maximum of 15cm in any direction, or maximum 30cm in cross-section diagonal. The object must also be free of any undercuts.

These classes teach you how to combine technology and natural materials by using software and our professional 3D printer to design and print forms in clay. It's a unique approach to ceramics.

In this course, you'll learn the basics of 3D printing with ceramics, including:

• Getting to know the printer

• Preparing the clay

• Making a 3D model using online 3D software

• Converting the data into a printable format (slicing software)

• Printing a small, simple shape, approximately the size of a cup.
