Intermediate Wheel: Teapots, Lids, Handles, & Spouts

Learn to use the potter’s wheel to throw and assemble parts that fit together, such as Lidded Forms or Teapots. Learn to pull handles & make different kinds of spouts. Bisqueware (appox. 1-2 assembled pieces) can be picked up approximately 1 week after the last session.

This class does not include a glazing session. You can either glaze at CK during Studio Time, or glaze on your own to be fired at CK as an External Firing. Need to refresh your glazing skills? Bring your bisque-fired pieces to one of our Glazing Sessions.

Previous wheel-throwing experience of at least 1-3 months working independently is required. Basic techniques such as centering, pulling, and glazing will not be covered. Wondering where your skills fit? Try first our Throwing Lab: Intermediate. Still working on basic techniques? Try our Throwing Lab: Basic.
