Victor Ausländer
Victor Ausländer studied Fine Art and Art History at Goldsmiths and then at the Royal Academy (London), as well as philosophy at the University of Fribourg (CH). He now holds a research position at the International Centre for Enlightenment Studies of the University of Halle, with a PhD project on J.-J. Rousseau's political concept of happiness. He also works as an artist in Berlin. The two sides of his practice, material and discursive, are complementary.
