Tim Martin
Tim studied Diploma of Ceramics in London, and has a studio at Cockpit Arts in Bloomsbury. He has participated in residencies in Denmark, Hungary and Germany, and has shown in solo and group exhibitions in the UK, Europe and recently in Japan and Australia.
He is the author of several articles on ceramics, art residencies, and notable ceramic collections.

A Grunewald Walk
Tim Martin is a London based sculptor. He hand-builds with clay, contrasting brutalist and elegant forms, and using a combination of unglazed clay, rich slip glazes, and bright metallic oxides. His architectural and graphic sculptures distill simple, evocative themes - a landscape, the figure, plants and corals, the built environment - and sculpt forms that are not quite recognisable but embody a strong emotional presence.
He explores structural concepts such as balance and scale, weight and lightness, movement and stillness.
