Group classes are taught in English/German. You can also request another language for Private Sessions.

Intermediate Wheel: Plates & Bottles

Improve your skills on the potter’s wheel by learning to throw Plates & Bottle Forms. Trimming tricks such as how to trim bottles on a chuck and how to avoid cracks and warping in plates will be covered. Bisque-fired pieces (appox. 3-6 pieces) can be picked up approximately 1 week after the last session.

This class does not include a glazing session. You can either glaze at CK during Studio Time, or glaze on your own to be fired at CK as an External Firing. Need to refresh your glazing skills? Bring your bisque-fired pieces to one of our Glazing Sessions.

Previous wheel-throwing experience of at least 1-3 months working independently is required. Basic techniques such as centering, pulling, and glazing will not be covered. Group size: 4-6 People

Course length: 3 sessions @ 2,5 hours per session = 7,5 hours.
