Studio Time & Monthly Packages
Our shared space welcomes artists to work independently in the studio. A self-guided time for improvement, concentration, and exchange of ideas, Studio Time is open for adults of all skill levels.
Available for use are 11 wheels, 3 kilns, 4 different clays, wedging & work tables, an extruder, slab roller, 16+ studio glazes, casting slip & plaster, various colored engobes, various tools & more.
Studio Time hours are Wednesdays 12:00-21:00 & Saturdays/Sundays 12:00-19:00. We have an open door policy: you can just walk in, receive an introduction (~10 min.) and get started. No need for an appointment!
Prices include the use of space & equipment, as well as maintenance such as clay recycling & glaze mixing. Our materials fee covers the use of clay, glaze, tools, aprons, throwing bats, plaster, etc. Materials & Kiln Firing fees are calculated by weight for each kiln firing.
Drop-in Studio Time*: €15/ hour
Materials fee: €2/ kilo, per firing
Studio Firing fee: €9 / kilo, per firing (Work made 100% at CK from start to finish. If you partially work on your pieces outside of CK, one of your firings will be calculated with an external firing fee.)
Monthly Packages* are purchased in the studio. The hours in your package are valid for 31 days from the moment of purchase. On your first day, you will receive a full orientation of the studio, and you will be asked to read & agree to our Studio Guidelines.

*Please Note:
Use of the potter’s wheel requires basic wheel-throwing experience. No independent instruction of others during Studio Time. Workspace is first come, first serve. Capacity Limits may apply.
